Paneer Fried Rice Recipe 🍚

📝 Ingredients:

For Fried Rice:

  • 2 cups cooked basmati rice 🍚 (cooled)
  • 1 cup paneer cubes 🧀
  • 2 tbsp oil/ghee 🧈
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped 🧅
  • ½ cup capsicum, finely chopped 🫑
  • ½ cup carrot, finely chopped 🥕
  • ½ cup spring onions, chopped 🌿
  • 1-2 green chilies, slit 🌶️
  • 1 tbsp garlic, minced 🧄
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce 🥢
  • 1 tbsp schezwan sauce (optional for spice) 🔥
  • ½ tsp black pepper powder
  • ½ tsp salt 🧂 (adjust as needed)
  • ½ tsp vinegar
  • ½ tsp garam masala (optional)

For Crispy Paneer (Optional):

  • 1 tsp cornflour
  • 1 tsp all-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions

1️⃣ Fry the Paneer (Optional for crispy texture)

  • Mix cornflour, all-purpose flour, salt, and pepper with a little water to make a light batter.
  • Coat paneer cubes and shallow-fry in oil until golden brown. Set aside.

2️⃣ Stir-fry the Veggies

  • Heat oil/ghee in a pan.
  • Add garlic and green chilies, sauté for a few seconds.
  • Add onions, carrots, and capsicum. Stir-fry on high heat for 2-3 minutes.

3️⃣ Add the Sauces & Spices

  • Add soy sauce, schezwan sauce, black pepper, salt, and vinegar.
  • Mix well and cook for a minute.

4️⃣ Add Rice & Paneer

  • Toss in the cooked rice and mix gently to coat with flavors.
  • Add the fried paneer cubes and mix well.

5️⃣ Garnish & Serve

  • Sprinkle chopped spring onions and mix.
  • Serve hot with manchurian, raita, or ketchup. 🍛✨
