Paneer Fried Rice Recipe 🍚
📝 Ingredients:
For Fried Rice:
- 2 cups cooked basmati rice 🍚 (cooled)
- 1 cup paneer cubes 🧀
- 2 tbsp oil/ghee 🧈
- 1 small onion, finely chopped 🧅
- ½ cup capsicum, finely chopped 🫑
- ½ cup carrot, finely chopped 🥕
- ½ cup spring onions, chopped 🌿
- 1-2 green chilies, slit 🌶️
- 1 tbsp garlic, minced 🧄
- 1 tbsp soy sauce 🥢
- 1 tbsp schezwan sauce (optional for spice) 🔥
- ½ tsp black pepper powder
- ½ tsp salt 🧂 (adjust as needed)
- ½ tsp vinegar
- ½ tsp garam masala (optional)
For Crispy Paneer (Optional):
- 1 tsp cornflour
- 1 tsp all-purpose flour
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp water
Instructions
1️⃣ Fry the Paneer (Optional for crispy texture)
- Mix cornflour, all-purpose flour, salt, and pepper with a little water to make a light batter.
- Coat paneer cubes and shallow-fry in oil until golden brown. Set aside.
2️⃣ Stir-fry the Veggies
- Heat oil/ghee in a pan.
- Add garlic and green chilies, sauté for a few seconds.
- Add onions, carrots, and capsicum. Stir-fry on high heat for 2-3 minutes.
3️⃣ Add the Sauces & Spices
- Add soy sauce, schezwan sauce, black pepper, salt, and vinegar.
- Mix well and cook for a minute.
4️⃣ Add Rice & Paneer
- Toss in the cooked rice and mix gently to coat with flavors.
- Add the fried paneer cubes and mix well.
5️⃣ Garnish & Serve
- Sprinkle chopped spring onions and mix.
- Serve hot with manchurian, raita, or ketchup. 🍛✨
